Here are a few tips to help prepare your home for the shoot: |
|
|
- Move all cars, boats, and bikes out of the driveway if possible, and keep the curb clear
- Hide the trash and reclaim bins. They should not be visible from the front of the home
- Mow and edge the lawns and rake leaves
- Vacuum the carpets and clean floors
- Make all the beds
- Remove as much clutter from each room as much as possible
- Clear the kitchen and bathroom counter's of any unnecessary items
- Clean the surfaces of the appliances. Remove those refrigerator magnets
- Bathrooms: Clean the mirrors and glass shower doors
- Remove waste baskets
- Clean the patio and all patio furniture
- Remove pool toys
- Turn off televisions, computer screens, ceiling fans
- Clean the windows and remove screens
- Open all curtains. Turn on every light
- Hide all pets, people, religious, political items
